Most recently, I spent six years as Creative Director of Storytelling at VerdanaBold, where I led storytelling and content across client and agency work. I also developed and led presentation training programs and spent much of this time embedded as lead writer for 26Studios, the in-house agency at Zebra Technologies.

Prior to that, I led creative for Huawei and Honor's social media accounts, directing a team that produced more than 30 pieces of original content each month, including work like hiring Justin Long (“the Mac guy”) as spokesperson for a product launch and partnering with Marvel for the release of Doctor Strange.

And as a freelance ACD, I wrote thought leadership work for Herman Miller, brand strategy for Wolverine Worldwide (Saucony, CAT Footwear), and websites for brands like the American Medical Association and design firm Vocon.

Outside of the office, I founded Orange Blossom Goods, a small-batch specialty food brand in Chicago, where I developed everything from the recipes to the brand identity, packaging, and website.

During my career, I’ve written new business and RFP responses, social media posts and experiential installations, TV & radio scripts, conference presentations and internal communications, direct mail and email, brand strategies, websites, and countless product videos.

Across all this work, I’ve always had a consistent philosophy: to hold the line against the jargon and fluff that turns meaningful communication into a bland pile of sanitized buzzwords.
